Loss of Adjusted Feature Node Sizes in Parent Control Plans after Sub-Control Plan Compilation

(Doc ID 1582494.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 17, 2013

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 5.0.0 and later
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)

With the release of NCC (Network Charging and Control), a new ACS (Advanced Control Services) CPE (Control Plan Editor) was released along with a myriad of further enhancements.

One of these said enhancements was the ability to resize FNs (Feature Nodes) if desired.

Unfortunately, a bug exists which causes the node sizes to be reset back to their default sizes if the resized node is in a Control Plan which contains a Sub-Control Plan Node and the Sub-Control Plan is recompiled (which requires the recompilation of the parent Control Plan as well).

Recompilation of a Sub-Control Plan when the parent Control Plan contains resized FNs.
