Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) infrastructure 7.3.2, after changing the "Frequency of Password Change" from 9999 to 90 in "Configuration", if a user enters invalid login information and then logs in with the correct information, the following message appears:

[<USER_ID>] User has been deleted

The user now appears under User Activity Report > Deleted Users in Security Management.  You cannot restore the deleted user.

You do not understand why the user is deleted after an invalid login.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to System Configuration > Configuration
  2. Change Frequency of Password Change from 9999 to 90
  3. Log in with a user using an invalid password
  4. Log in again with a valid password
