Out Of Memory Caused By Logging

Oracle Commerce ATG applications deployed on WebLogic may run into out-of-memory errors and the Java instance cannot function afterward, which requires that Java exit and restart.


This problem will only occur if JVM output is redirected to the WebLogic logs (the class weblogic.logging.LoggingPrintStream is configured to be the STDOUT output stream for the Java runtime). This is documented in the Redirecting JVM Output section of the WebLogic docs.
