Up to BRM 7.5, accounts having relationships like Charge or Discount share cannot live in another schema and they have to be migrated to the same schema if necessary. That operation can be achieved with the Account Migration Manager (AMM).

Migrating accounts with AMM is a manual and non-real-time operation : accounts to be placed into a hierarchy have to be migrated to the same schema first, then only associated.

The current logic supposes that those related accounts live in the same schema, and as such a manual operation is necessary when two accounts living on different schemas have to be related. This involves management and operation constraints.
