Using Oracle snmpcapture to collect an SNMP OID walk of a device for SNMPV2 routers
(Doc ID 1584618.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 30, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Communications IP Service Activator - Version 7.2.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Often users of IPSA will raise a SR and need to provide support with an SNMP OID walk of a device. Oracle support uses a tool called "snmpcapture" to gather this information. A simple native snmpwalk of the device will not produce the same format and must be done with the Oracle capture tool. This note provides the tool and instructions on how to use it.
