Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) 13.2.3.x, the SAPURGE batch is improperly deleting records from table SA_TRAN_ITEM that are within the retention period.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Set SA_SYSTEM_OPTION 'days_before_purge' value accordingly such that some records exist to be deleted via SAPURGE batch.
  2. Take data backup from SA_TRAN_HEAD and SA_TRAN_ITEM  tables before running SAPURGE batch.
  3. Run SAPREPOST PRE, SAPURGE, SAPREPOST POST batches accordingly.
  4. Check the deleted records and review their business days.  Records within the retention period are also being deleted from SA_TRAN_ITEM table.
