ORA-01455 (Integer Overflow) During PCM_OP_SUBSCRIPTION_CANCEL_DEAL Execution (Doc ID 1588998.1)

Last updated on MARCH 20, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On all versions of Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), a problem may occur when executing PCM_OP_SUBSCRIPTION_CANCEL_DEAL opcode.

During execution, fm_subs_utils_get_orig_cycle_events is executed to determine to which billing cycle events belong to.  This search fails due to ORA-01455: converting column overflows integer datatype.

fm_subs_utils_get_orig_cycle_events previously mentioned performs the following search:

1. The exact same search executed on database though SQL works fine (taken from dm logs and filled with proper values from search args).
2. When the original search is tested via testnap it returns exactly the same error.
