Last updated on MARCH 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Control Plan Editor's Profile Date Compare (PDC) node may branch incorrectly for Profile Tag dates that have a value earlier than the UNIX epoch 0 start date (January 1st, 1970).

The following slee_acs process debug output shows date conversion error for a Profile Tag date set to January 1st 1902:

The Converted field from the debug is in Tue Jan 19 03:14:07 2038 resulting in the PDC node logic incorrectly branching out of its Future exit.
