"The system could not process your request..." Error When Attempting to Install Applications in the Unifier User Interface (Doc ID 1591614.1)

When attempting to install an application, such as Cost Controls or Capital Planning, in the Unifier user interface, the below error message is thrown.

The system could not process your request. Logging in again may help in some cases. Contact your System Administrator if you are still having problems.

The below message is also thrown in the server log file. The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect
