Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)
On Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT) 220.127.116.11, with multi-currency enabled, when aggregating a balance amount in Ledger Stat, even though the currency dimension is set to <Same As Source>, the values written in Ledger Stat are in the functional currency, but the currency code is the original currency.
The amounts aggregated to Ledger are transformed in functional currency, instead of original currency. With multi-currency enabled, when aggregating a balance amount in Ledger Stat, even though the currency dimension is set to <Same As Source>, the actual amounts written to Ledger Stat are in the functional currency, but the currency code is the original currency.
Expect the values to be written to be the same as the Source rows with the same currency as the source rows.
Steps to reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Static Driver allocation, which aggregates the Current Par Balance from the Mortgages table to Ledger Stat. The currency dimension is set to <Same As Source>.
Use the following sample data in FSI_D_MORTGAGES:
ID_NUMBER AS_OF_DATE ISO_CURRENCY_CD CUR_PAR_BAL
1 31-01-2013 JOD 100
2 31-01-2013 JPY 100
3 31-01-2013 USD 100
2. The following exchange rates were defined and validated:
1 JOD = 1.333333 USD
1 JOD = 100 JPY
3. After running the allocation, the amounts are converted to the functional currency (JOD), but not back to the original currency. So the currency information is kept as but the amount is actually in JOD.
The following results are found in Ledger Stat:
IDENTITY_CODE YEAR_S ISO_CURRENCY_CD MONTH_01
10365 2013 JOD 100
10365 2013 JPY 1
10365 2013 USD 75
