Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When altering a profile tag of type "date" in the long past (or in the long future), via the Provisioning Interface (PI) with a command such as the following one :

CCSCD9=CHG:TAG=mydate,MSISDN=<MSISDN>,VALUE=18990101000000,SYNSTAMP=2013100108072468;
CCSCD9=CHG:ACK,SYNSTAMP=2013100108072468;

The PI accepts the command but the profile gets set to a different date, e.g. :

0x01e240 mydate 4 ff ff ff ff
  31 December 1969 23:59:59 (4294967295)
