Oracle Financial Services Applications (OFSA) - Version 4.5

All OFSA 4.5 Products Have Reached Sustaining Support
As of April 2013, all OFSA 4.5 products have reached Sustaining Support. This covers all point versions of OFSA 4.5.x products. The following OFSA 4.5 products are covered by this:
- Oracle Financial Data Manager (FDM)
- Oracle Rate Manager
- Oracle Balance & Control
- Oracle Performance Analyzer (PA / PFT)
- Oracle Transfer Pricing (TP / FTP)
- Oracle Transfer Pricing Online (TPOL)
- Oracle Budgeting & Planning (OBP / PBR)
- Oracle Risk Manager (RM / RMG)
- Oracle Financial Services Profitability Analytics (PFTBI)
- Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management Analytics (ALMBI)
Under Sustaining Support, the customer is entitled to open service requests and has access to any knowledge articles, documentation, and approved fixes, but Oracle will no longer provide new fixes or update 3rd party certifications. All Sustaining Support is done on a "reasonable efforts" basis with no guarantee of problem resolution. The customer maintains the right to upgrade as long as they are current on their support and maintenance contract.
To search for OFSA 4.5 Knowledge Articles, use the keywords "ofsa 4.5" along with any description of your issue. Be sure to also check Archive results for the issue.
Sustaining Support Limitations
Support for OFSA 4.5 is subject to the following limitations:
- There is no 24/7 support for OFSA 4.5 products. Support for OFSA 4.5 products is only provided during non-holiday business hours.
- There are no new fixes or certifications available for OFSA 4.5 products.
- Severity 1 service requests filed during non-service hours or during the weekend will be acknowledged, but may not receive a first technical response until the next business day.
Oracle recommends that any customer electing to remain on OFSA 4.5 products:
- Maintain compliance with 3rd party software and versions as specified in the Oracle Financial Services Installation and Configuration Guide, Release 4.5. Oracle will be only be able to provide limited assistance for solutions that are not certified.
- Retain staff familiar with the product and version being run in production.
