Last updated on JULY 26, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Online Mediation Controller - Version 6.1.0 to 6.1.0 [Release 6.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Online Mediation Controller (OCMC) 6.1, Rating-Group AVP (432) is always missing in the MSCC (Multiple-Services-Credit-Control) AVP in CCA(Credit-Control-Answer) sent by OCMC.

Network expects Rating-Group AVP in MSCC AVP when it sends CCR (Credit-Control-Request) with Rating-Group included in MSCC AVP.

The Rating-Group AVP (AVP code 432), is defined in RFC 4006 [402]. It contains the charging key (defined in TS 23.203 [218]).

See 7.1.10 Rating-Group AVP via 32299-940.doc - 3GPP (www.3gpp.org).
