Symptoms
Currently BRM supports flexible cycles only for cycle forward events.
Customer Business Scenario: - All recurring fees are typically charged only at the end of the cycle. Though most of the products are monthly, there are quite a few roaming products which are charged daily/weekly etc.
Customized solution approach using cycle forward discounts. But since there are quite a few products and they could co-exist, need to have multiple non-currencies and handling proration for suspension and reconnects, could get into functional and performance issues.
So expecting flexible cycles capabilities for cycle arrear events in OOTB itself.
