Symptoms

Symptom 1:

Users are not able to create certain timesheet periods under Administer>Enterprise Data>Timesheet Periods.  When attempting to add the new period, the following error is received even though the period does not overlap.

The timesheet period you are attempting to create cannot overlap with an existing timesheet period.

Symptom 2:

Users are not able to create certain financial periods and receive the following error:

The Financial Period You Are Attempting to Create Cannot Overlap with an Existing Financial Period.

Note: The issue might also occur with Financial Periods due to a record in the database preventing the save (as opposed to a Daylight Saving Time sync issue).
