Performance Degradation and Application Errors in MSS 6.2.1 Due to Duplicate Custom Attribute Data (Doc ID 1596787.1)

Symptoms

The MSS 6.2.1 application is throwing an error when trying to update the custom attributes (CA) from the Connection Design Window.  Due to the existence of duplicate CA records within the database, users may experience slowness when trying to save/update the custom attributes from the Connection Design Window.  This custom attribute data may continue to increase exponentially.

Changes

 This issue is found to be in the MSS 6.2.1 application version where customers are utilizing the custom attributes functionality.
