Compatibility Of Java From 32 Bit To 64 Bit In Oracle BRM 7.3.1 and 7.5

BRM java process such as Batch controller, REL, eai_js process is using 32 bit java. This Batch Controller java process consumes a lot of memory, so the user would like to update to 64 bit Java.
Is it compatible with BRM 7.3.1 and what is the impact if upgrade java from 32 bit to 64 bit?
