BRM 7.5 PS5 - Core Dump on CM Startup
(Doc ID 1600963.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 21, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.0.0 to 7.5.0.0.0 [Release 7.5.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
When using AF_UNIX instead of AF_INET, the CM process did not start and core dump was generated.
When pin.conf configuration is changed to use UNIX Domain sockets, in pcp_conn_try_this() function the addrinfo_index structure pointer is NULL when attempt is made to copy members from the structure. If nap_cm_addrs structure in input argument already contains a valid socket address, there is no need to copy the address into the structure again.
