Named Events Nodes Are Allowed For Unavailable Account Batch - Activate Account (Doc ID 1601250.1)

Last updated on MARCH 06, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 to 5.0.2 [Release 4.3 to 5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) up to and including 5.0.2, accounts belonging to an unavailable batch are still able to use rated services.

From the beVWARS debug, it can be seen the batch is "unavailable":

2013/08/19 01:49:02 867 [25914] beVWARS_plugin Application::plugin_walletUnusable(reason = "Account Reference 1101 has an unavailable batch (221)")

However the response from the Voucher Wallet Server (VWS) to the Service Logic Controller (SLC) is an ACK:

2013/08/19 01:49:02     332 [23686]            ccsCommon       [ACTN] = 'ACK '
2013/08/19 01:49:02   972 [23686]   COMMON_escher_dump       [TYPE] = 'INER'

As a result, the Feature Node exits out the success exit and services are able to be used.
