The customer in this example is using TUGBU product CCB (Customer Care and Billing). This information can also be applicable to other TUGBU products that are FW based.
On CCB 2.3.1
Upon upgrading from SP5 to SP8, while applying the FW SP18 on the Database side and running CDXPatch.exe, the script keeps asking "Ready to Process patches, Do you want to continue" and the patch will take forever because it requires manual intervention.
Some of the patches are already installed, however, it is expected that the script does not ask for each of the fixes installed.
The following shows in the console upon running CCB SP8/FW-V220-SP18-Database\Oracle\cdxdbi\cdxdbi\CDXPatch.exe:
