Documentation for Periodic Charge states that Balance Expiry Hours and Days should both be 1 or higher

(Doc ID 1602460.1)

Last updated on MARCH 27, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC/NCC) documentation is unclear about the Balance Expiry Extension Days and Hours in the Charging Control Services (CCS) User Guide.

In the following screen :

Services -> Prepaid Charging -> Wallet Management -> Periodic Charge tab -> "New" button

The documentation reads :

The number of days and hours by which to extend the current balance expiry period for the balance type specified in the Balance Type field.
Allowed range for: days is 1-999999. hours is 1-23.
This field is available for any Credit action where the Balance Expiry Update Policy is not set to Ignore.

Forcing a minimum value for both days and hours isn't quite logical.
