The New/Edit Periodic Charge Screen Throws A NullPointerException When Using Offset Dates (Doc ID 1602999.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control, release 5.0.1, when navigating to:

Services -> Prepaid Charging -> Wallet Management -> Periodic Charges tab -> New or Edit

When configuring new Periodic Charges or altering existing ones with Charge Type as "credit", the Service Management System (SMS) Screens throw a NullPointerException when one ticks the "Use Offset Date" check box.

The nullPointerException can also be observed in the Java console output :
