Goal

In MWM v2, a mobile user can choose to postpone/suspend an activity to any date/time they like. It was implied that the user was indicating that they intend to work the postponed order at that selected date/time as part of that current shift. As a result, if the crew's shift is scheduled for 8am-5pm, and the order is postponed until 9pm, the shift will be extended until 9pm to allow to allow for working the activity as part of the current shift. Similarly, if an activiy is postponed until 5pm tomorrow, the shift will be extended until 5pm tomorrow.  Further, since the shift has been exteneded, the scheduler will then see additional capacity and add additional work to the shift to fill the time between now and the new shift end time. This design caused some user confusion and required that crews typically be instructed not postpone/suspend activities past the end of their current shift.
