Is It Possible With MS6.2 To Store Configuration Information In Local Files Instead Of Within LDAP? (Doc ID 1603432.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 14, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 6.2.0 to 6.2.0 [Release 6.2.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

We have three front-end servers running Messaging Server 6.2 and three back-end servers running Messaging Server 6.3.

We would like to decouple our 6.2 Messaging Server instances from the configuration directory server and have all of the configuration information stored in local files. We understand that the configuration directory function was deprecated, starting in Messaging Server 6.3, but would like to know if there is a way to manually configure this without upgrading to a newer version?
