Goal
Customer is questioning why Forecast Consumption in source MRP is different than forecast consumption in ASCP. Had a long telecon on this with some collected data
Org = TST:M1
Item = JMake
Source MRP is weekly buckets with backward days = 10, forward days = 0
The ASCP plan is 182 days/52 weeks/1 period - ok so forecast example is in weekly bucket in MRP but in daily buckets for ASCP
Sales order for the example are all scheduled 06-JAN-2014. The Org Mfg calendar and it's 5 on 2 off in ASCP
Working days 01-JAN to 06-JAN and 23-DEC. Non working days24-DEC through 31-DEC - So with backward days = 10 we'd expect the sales orders to get consumed on 06-JAN-
Note 740346.1
They clearly see forecast consumption different in ASCP vs MRP and want to know why
