OFSAAI 7.3.3 Batch Operations Batch Cancellation Screen Does Not Properly Display Ongoing Batches and Abort Batch Button is Disabled (Doc ID 1607736.1)

Last updated on MARCH 13, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure (OFSAAI)
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

On OFSAAI, the Operations -> Batch Cancellation screen does not work. There appear to be two issues:

1. List of ongoing processes is not displayed
2. "Abort Batch" Button does not become available (it is grayed out, cannot be pressed) even when batch is selected

Ongoing processes are missing and abort batch button is not enabled.

Expect any ongoing batches to be displayed and the Abort Batch button to be enabled.

In another instance with OFSAAI with ALM 6.0 + FTP 6.0 + PFT 6.0 + HM 6.0 + PM 6.0, the batches on the Batch Cancellation are visible and the "Abort Batch" button is working.

Steps to reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Execute batch: either from Operations - Batch Execution screens or FTP/PFT Screen. Please note that in order to see the issue you need to have a batch that runs for a longer time.
2. Go to Operations - Batch Cancellation screen: even though the batch is ongoing it is not visible ( it is barely visible if you change the resolution of the browser ). Even if the batch is checked ( by using the "Check all" tick ), the "Abort Batch" doesn't become active, it is grayed out.
