Removing/amending QoS policies with random detect DSCP based configuration results in rollback due to incorrect syntax (Doc ID 1609043.1)

Last updated on MAY 29, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Communications IP Service Activator - Version 7.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Removal/Amendment of QOS policy that uses 'random-detect dscp-based' fails.

Instead of issuing the command 'no random-detect dscp-based', IPSA only issues 'no random-detect'
So the router complains with the following error :

router1 (config-pmap-c)#no random-detect

random-detect dscp must be disabled first.

Upgrade from IPSA5.2.4 to 7.2.0
