Symptoms
On : 7.3 version
When attempting to perform Model Upload with Sliced mode, it failed but no clear message shown in the model upload log.
Error:
Data Model Upload Log ended after the header with the following message:
Error while merging the database model for slice model upload
ETLService.log:
[ETLLOG] Dec 16,13 15:46:45 : [DATABASEMODELREWRITER]
org.w3c.dom.DOMException: NOT_FOUND_ERR: An attempt is made to reference a node in a context where it does not exist.
at org.apache.xerces.dom.ParentNode.internalInsertBefore(Unknown Source)
at org.apache.xerces.dom.ParentNode.replaceChild(Unknown Source)
Steps:
1. Merge a good working model with 6.1 FTP and PFT data models.
Note: Previous successful model upload also done using sliced mode.
2. Perform model upload using upload.sh Sliced mode then error occurs.
Changes
Merge a new model with existing model.
