Convergence 2: Does A Hotfix Need To Be Manually Removed Before Applying An Official Patch? (Doc ID 1610249.1)

Goal

We are using Convergence 2 patch 6, with a hotfix for a bug, where the hotfix consists of files in iwc_static (e.g. /opt/SUNWappserver/domains/domain/docroot/iwc_static).

Does the hotfix need to be removed before applying Convergence 2 patch 7?
