RWMS Does Not Allow User to Add Non-Conformance Code for NSC Appointment (Doc ID 1611377.1)

Symptoms

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix already scheduled for future release in RWMS 13.2.8.
This article will be updated as official patch information becomes available.


In Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System (RWMS) 13.2.4 , when trying to create a "non conformance code" record for an NSC-type appointment which is linked to a purchase order (PO), the following error message is generated on the "Non Conformance Details" screen:

 

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a Non-Specified Casepack (NSC) appointment.
2. Add records to the appointment using the "Add By PO" option.
3. Go to RWMS handheld (HH) and receive the appointment.
4. Enter GUI -> Receiving -> Non Conformance Details.
5. Press Create Record.
6. Enter NSC appointment number.
7. Enter assigned PO number.  The following error message is generated:  "Invalid PO/Appointment Combination"
