On Oracle Financial Services Balance Sheet Planning (BSP) 6.1, Initializing BSP fails when using service name for Oracle (RAC) cluster. The following error occurs:

java.sql.SQLException: Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor

The initialization is successful if specifying a SID.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Update odbc.ini and tnsnames.ora with service name for RAC instance.
2. Attempt to initialize BSP with the same.
