The Activate Date Is Not Correct when Modifying Item VAT Rate
Last updated on OCTOBER 12, 2017
Applies to:Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 12.0.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 12.0, when the Value Added Tax (VAT) rate is changed, the default ACTIVE DATE picked is same as the VDATE.
The system should in fact pick the RMS [VDATE + 1] as the ACTIVE DATE.
Steps to Reproduce:
- In RMS, go to Item > Item List > Use > Options > CREATE_MASS_ITEM_CHANGE > VAT Rates.
- Create a VAT change.
- Select Active Date. Note that VDATE is taken as the default Active Date.
