Purpose

When a browser makes a page request to an application based on the ATG + Endeca integration, the page in the browser may give the user a 404 HTTP response code. In the application server log, the important error message is:

Of particular interest here is "@error=FileNotFound". There are various misconfigurations that can lead to this error. At the point when this error appears, the Assembler in the Java application is making an HTTP call over the network to the Endeca Workbench to retrieve data about the application. The errors appear because the application data is not returned from this call. This document provides troubleshooting suggestions and links to solutions for some of the known issues.
