How To Identify and Resolve Stock Counts That Are Stuck in a Pre- "Authorized Complete" Status (Doc ID 1618232.1)

Goal

In Store Inventory Management (SIM), sometimes stock counts get stuck in a status (for example: STOCK_COUNT.STATUS = '10') that occurs before 'Authorization Complete'.  The statuses for these counts will not go to 'Authorization Complete' status, even after running the 'StockCountAuthorizeRecovery.sh' batch. This issue could be caused by either of the following reasons:

1. This issue can be caused by data or user intervention/customization on the SIM database schema.

2. This issue can be caused stock count directories and the permissions allowed on these directories

This note helps in identifying and resolving the issue so that the stock count status moves fully to 'Authorization Complete'.
