RDL Configuration Does Not Work In IE9

Symptoms
The loss of functionality: When using Internet Explorer 9 with Oracle Utilities 1.6.1.16.x the RDL configuration cannot be performed. It is not possible to draw the connection lines between the table and relating parameter.
The sequence of events: 1) Create a new RDl and a version. Create the mapping between the source template and the destination table.
Where it happened: The issue occurs on EIP
The significance of loss / cusotmer impact: It is not possible to create a new RDL mapping
Include specific error messages (error number with syntax): None
What IS working: any other Adapter functionality is not affected
What is the expected or acceptable result?: The user expects to create the RDL mapping
What about the system has recently changed? User works on the latest product version and IE 9
