Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Retail Warehouse Management System (RWMS),  length, width, and height dimensions have a data limit of NUMBER(12,4).   However, when items have dimensions set as millimeters/centimeters and dimensions have values of at least 3 digit whole numbers (e.g., 336mm x 300mm x 398mm), ITEM_CUBE (NUMBER(12,4)) will have an 8-digit whole number (e.g., 40118400).   During distribution in RWMS, an error is shown in the ERROR_LOG:

This is from computing the ITEM_CUBE multiplied by UNIT_QTY (if greater than 10) in DE_CREATE_RF_UNIT_PICK and storing the computed value in a variable (t_cube) with data declaration of NUMBER(12,4).

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Distribute an item with ITEM_CUBE with at least 8 digit whole numbers (e.g., 12345678) and REQUESTED_UNIT_QTY greater than 9.
  2. Note the error above in ERROR_LOG.
