This document outlines the recommended steps for effectively troubleshooting issues with AutoVue's printing functionality. Symptoms of printing issues in AutoVue may fall under various categories, including:
- Printed output is blank
- Printed output is partially blank
- Printed output looks incorrect in terms of color, size, scaling, margins, line thickness, etc.
- Printed output appears low quality (i.e. low resolution)
- Printing process takes longer than expected (note that printing performance issues may require additional troubleshooting tools/techniques not fully covered in this document)
In addition to using this document as a standard troubleshooting methodology for AutoVue printing issues, readers should refer to print-related topics in the AutoVue documentation (specifically the User Guide, the Viewing Configuration Guide, and the Installation Guide) as well as the many other print-related knowledge base articles within the My Oracle Support portal. Print-related issues are often related to incorrect configuration, and are quickly resolved based on information in these existing resources.
This document is intended for AutoVue users and AutoVue administrators. The document may also be used as a guideline when Oracle Support works with customers to troubleshoot issues reported against AutoVue's Print functionality.
