Last updated on OCTOBER 18, 2016
Applies to:Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 5.0.0 to 5.0.2 [Release 5.0]
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
In Network Charging and Control (NCC) 5.0.0+, when attemping to open a Sub-Control Plan Node (SCPN) in an Control Plan (CP) where the referenced Sub-Control Plan and Parent Control Plan are both imported, the following error occurs:
Both the Sub-Control Plan and Parent Control Plan are imported from another environment and the destination environment also uses Historical Control Plans.
"Historical Control Plans" are essentially a couple of disabled database triggers which purge older revisions of Control Plans. This allows for backups of CPs to exist should an urgent rollback be required.
