Opening Imported Sub Control Plan Nodes Throws Error "The control plan that was previously selected - <CP Name> has either been removed or failed to compile" (Doc ID 1621599.1)

Symptoms

In Network Charging and Control (NCC) 5.0.0+, when attemping to open a Sub-Control Plan Node (SCPN) in an Control Plan (CP) where the referenced Sub-Control Plan and Parent Control Plan are both imported, the following error occurs:

The control plan that was previously selected - Sub Test 1 has either been removed or failed to compile.

Both the Sub-Control Plan and Parent Control Plan are imported from another environment and the destination environment also uses Historical Control Plans.

"Historical Control Plans" are essentially a couple of disabled database triggers which purge older revisions of Control Plans.  This allows for backups of CPs to exist should an urgent rollback be required.
