Convergence General Options Save Button Greyed out If User's Startup Service Is Not Mail or Calendar

Symptoms
On : Convergence 3-0.01.
In the Options | Global | General, the "Save Preferences" button is greyed out for some users.
The users who are unable to use "Save Preferences" also report that upon login to Convergence, they get Address book pane instead of Mail.
Equally, the users who are able to "Save Preferences" get the Mail pane upon login.
