'Unable To Update ETLRepository XML' Error Saving F2T File Extract (Doc ID 1623820.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Infrastructure, you cannot save a File Extract (F2T).  After you enter the F2T definition details, the following error appears on the screen when you try to save the extract:

[2623] Operation at server failed. : [3122] Saving definition failed [3705]
Unable to update ETLRepository XML

The ETLService.log in $FIC_APP_HOME/common/FICServer/logs contains the following error:

[ETLLOG] Jan 28,14 11:44:16 : [CLSUCNTETLPROPERTIES]DB type :ORACLE
[ETLLOG] Jan 28,14 11:44:16 : [CLSUUTLETLEXTRACTIONCONTROLLER]Saved the properties
[ETLLOG] Jan 28,14 11:44:16 : [CLSUUTLETLEXTRACTIONCONTROLLER]Failed updating the ETLRepsoitory xml file


The error prevents you from creating a new File Extract or editing an existing one.

You were able to save File Extracts in the past.  You can save T2T Database Extracts successfully.
