Symptoms

For Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Infrastructure, in an environment that uses a Websphere web server, the main OFSAA Infrastructure screen displays errors.  There is a red "Oracle" instead of the top banner and the following message appears in the middle of the screen:

Invalid request / Error while processing request
Please contact your System Administrator for more information.

Additionally, errors like the following exist in the Websphere startup log:

[2/6/14 14:07:25:442 EST] 0000000c webapp E com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.webapp.WebApp logError SRVE0293E: [Servlet Error]-[Failed to load listener: com.iflex.reveleus.oprisk.session.SessionListener]: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: class java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.iflex.reveleus.oprisk.session.SessionListener
at java.beans.Beans.instantiate(Beans.java:190)
at java.beans.Beans.instantiate(Beans.java:75)

and

[2/6/14 14:16:52:959 EST] 00000019 webapp E com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.webapp.WebApp logServletError SRVE0293E: [Servlet Error]-[/login.jsp]: java.lang.NullPointerException

These errors prevent the OFSAA interfaces from loading correctly.

You did try clearing the Websphere cache but the issue still occurs.
