Symptoms

Messaging Server 7u4-27.09(7.0.4.27.8) 64bit (built Jan 15 2014) which contains fix to BUG 14738759
ISS 1u4 patch 19

Unable to start up imapd process; getting timeout errors.

Errors about JMQ in imap log:
[06/Feb/2014:21:46:04 +0000] imapd[16375]: General Error: jmqnotify: JMQ initialization error: Could not connect to broker

Seeing imap startup timing out when running # start-msg
Connecting to watcher ...
Launching watcher ... 16305
Starting ens server ... 16332
Starting store server .... 16333
Checking store server status ... ready
Starting purge server .... 16335
Starting imap server............................................................... timeout
