This is a troubleshooting document to help assist and try to narrow down the cause of problems such as linking/unlinking not working in iconnect using Siebel.

Goal

When using iConnect how to verify whether the CRM setup is appropriate and is working. You can do this by testing the Web Services or integration to CRM outside of Oracle Knowledge. For Siebel, you can do this using a tool like SOAP UI. Download the Web Service Definition from Siebel and SOAP UI can create mock requests for you.

Note: SOAP UI is not an Oracle product. Oracle cannot offer any guidance or support in the use of this product. This Knowledge Base article is not an endorsement of SOAP UI. This article is presented in good faith that the information within may be of assistance in isolating issues with Siebel/iConnect integration and operation.
