Behavior of OCSC 6.1 on Network Failover: OCSC 6.1 Instances Abort When Internal (Coherence) Network is Down (Doc ID 1626853.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 15, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Service Broker - Version 6.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

During testing of OCSC 6.1 on network failover, it is using <PRIVATE_IP_HOST1> (alias internal) network for coherence communication.

After shutting down (ifdown command) the <PRIVATE_IP_HOST1> interface on a machine, both SSU and PN instances abort on that node.

Is that a correct behavior of OCSC 6.1?
