RULE Generate Sql With Incorrect Syntax While Execution of RRF Rule Post Migration From PR2

Symptoms

Execution of a RRF Rule that was migrated from PR2 using Archive/Restore feature fails due to incorrect Merge Query. The MERGE query in Task log under $FIC_DB_HOME/log/*/ shows an incorrect query that fail with "java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00905: missing keyword" error.

The Merge Query formed lags  Spaces between the Keywords as per below extracts from log file

 

"CASE WHEN 0 = 1 THEN 17WHEN ", "THEN 1WHEN 0 < 0 THEN 22ELSE CASE "
