This issue applies to RMS 12.
In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 12.x, the error below occurs when attempting to add a new DIFF_ID. Even though the error appears, the record is added to database table DIFF_IDS after the 'OK' button is clicked on the [diffid] form.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select DIFF_ID. Click Edit.
2. Click Add.
3. Add new DIFF_ID and click Apply.
4. Note the error: 'Not able to insert record'; click OK. Record is inserted despite the error message indicating the opposite.
