Edidlinv Batch Changes RTV Item ID To A Number And Neglects Any Leading Zeroes (Doc ID 1630527.1)

Last updated on MARCH 15, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In the main cursor the item is made to_number, hence if the item is starting with ‘0’ then the ‘0’ gets truncated and same is passed to vat_sql which fails to pick up the vat information.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a RTV for items that have leading zeroes in their IDs. (i.e. 000000XXXX)
2. Run edidlinv.pc batch.
3. See the edidlinv.out file=> The batch has transformed the ID into number and is displayed as XXXX neglecting all the leading Zeroes.
