Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) 7.3.3

In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Infrastructure version 7.3.3, you changed the atomic schema password and you are updating it as described in <Document 1246774.1> "How to Change the OFSAA Config and Atomic Schema User Passwords in OFSAA".  After you go to Unified Metadata Manager > Data Management Tools > Data Ingestion > Data Sources and enter a new atomic password for a Data Source, you get the following message:

[9635] Source saved successfully

However, after making this change, you are getting "ORA-01017: invalid username/password" errors in the log files when running T2T database extracts.

When you compare the encrypted password value in the ETLSOURCEDETAILS table to the same value for the atomic user in the DB_MASTER table, the values do not match.

select v_source_name, v_password from etlsourcedetails where v_source_type = 'RDBMS';
select dbuserid, dbpasswd from db_master where dbname <> 'CONFIG';

It appears the v_password value in ETLSOURCEDETAILS is not updated correctly even though you received a message stating the update was successful.
