Symptoms
The following error occurs when logging into the P6 Integration API or Web Services:
Invalid database instance while checking authentication mode.
An error similar to the following error will also be displayed in PrimaveraLogs:
YOUR DATABASE MAJOR SCHEMA VERSION DID NOT MATCH THE VERSION EXPECTED BY PRIMAVERA
EXPECTING: <CURRENT APPLICATION VERSION> FOUND: <EXPECTED DATABASE VERSION>
FOR DATABASE: <database connection string>
DATABASE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE
EXPECTING: <CURRENT APPLICATION VERSION> FOUND: <EXPECTED DATABASE VERSION>
