Last updated on FEBRUARY 10, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.2.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.2.x, when an intra-company transfer is created and shipped from a location with Weighted Average Cost (WAC) = 0, then the WAC in the 'TO' location also becomes 0.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create an intra-company transfer from one location to another.  Make sure that:

   FROM_LOC: AV_COST = 0, STOCK_ON_HAND = 4
   TO_LOC: AV_COST > 0, STOCK_ON_HAND = 0
   Transfer qty = 1
Total Cost of transfer = 0

2. Approve transfer.
3. Receive the transfer at the 'To' location.
4. Notice that the AV_COST in the 'To' Location becomes 0.
